Leslie’s Cube – Thermal Radiation Cube
Leslie’s Cube – Thermal Radiation CubeDemonstrate thermal radiation from four different surfaces. The aluminium plate heats to a uniform temperature of approximately 70°C or 100°C, depending on the setting. The four surfaces (black, white, silver, and polished silver) have different thermal emissivities, causing them to radiate different amounts of radiation even though they are all the same temperature. The photo shows the Leslie’s Cube in visible light on the left and in the infrared on the right.
Kilovolt Power Supply
Kilovolt Power SupplyThis Kilovolt Power Supply is used for electron tubes and electrostatics. In addition to DC kilovolt output, a 6.3 VAC output is provided to power filaments in electron tubes. The power supply output shuts off when the maximum current is exceeded, and then it automatically resets.
AC/DC Power Supply
AC/DC Power SupplyThe AC/DC Power Supply has been designed specifically for use in teaching science. It can provide both direct current (DC) and alternating current (AC). The power supply can provide both types of electrical power at the same time, and they can be adjusted independently of one another.

Magnetic Force on a Current-Carrying Wire ExperimentMeasure the force on a current-carrying wire in a magnetic field.
Primary/Secondary Coils
Primary/Secondary CoilsThese nested primary and secondary coils have a removable soft iron core. Each coil has safety banana jacks. The inner coil has 302 turns of wire, and the outer coil has 3077 turns of wire, making the ratio of turns approximately 10:1.
Transformer Core
Transformer CoreThis U-shaped iron core is designed to be used with two coils to form a transformer. The core has laminated iron strips to minimise eddy currents. The cross-bar can be removed to allow the installation of the coils.

Wireless Voltage-Current Sensor
Wireless Voltage-Current SensorPASCO’s Wireless Voltage-Current Sensor has a convenient onboard digital OLED display. It is a smart alternative to a traditional multimeter.
Wireless Thermocouple
Wireless ThermocouplePASCO’s Wireless Thermocouple has a convenient onboard digital OLED display. It greatly expands the measurement range of our line of temperature-sensing products from -40°C to +125°C, now up to -200°C to 1400°C. Monitor temperatures of solutions cooled by commercial freezers, dry ice, or even evaporating liquid nitrogen. Students can also measure up to the heat of stove elements, matches, and non-optimised Bunsen burners.
