Ramp Set
This compact Ramp Set is an ideal introduction to inclined plane investigations in
Physics. Made from MDF, the set includes 5 ramps and 5 carts, making it perfect
for small-group experiments and classroom demonstrations.
Each ramp can be mounted on the stand at 5 different heights, enabling students to
investigate how release height and slope, affect cart velocity. The carts also feature
loadable trays for exploring the mass-dependence of motion down an incline.
For more advanced dynamics investigations, the ramps can be used with Ramp
Surfaces (LA30-405) to study how different surface materials affect friction.
