Salinometer with suction bulb
Salinometer with suction bulbSalinometer developed for rapid determination of salt content in water (0–40 g/L), calibrated to 15 °C ± 3 °C. The meter, which has been developed specifically for the aquaculture industry with salmon in marine farms, consists of a suction ball mounted at the end of a transparent tube made of solid plastic. A hydrometer with a scale is placed in the tube, on which the salt content can be read directly. Using the salinometer: place the suction nozzle in the water, press the suction ball, suck up the sample and read. Working temperature range approx. 8–36 °C.
