Salinometer with suction bulb
Salinometer developed for rapid determination of salt content in water (0–40 g/L), calibrated to 15 °C ± 3 °C. The meter, which has been developed specifically for the aquaculture industry with salmon in marine farms, consists of a suction ball mounted at the end of a transparent tube made of solid plastic. A hydrometer with a scale is placed in the tube, on which the salt content can be read directly. Using the salinometer: place the suction nozzle in the water, press the suction ball, suck up the sample and read. Working temperature range approx. 8–36 °C.

Semi circular Refraction Dish
This open prism can be used in optics experiments to identify the refractive index of different liquids, as the exit angle in relation to the plumb line for the light source can be read at the bottom of the prism.
Note The material is plastic and is therefore not resistant to alkaline or acidic liquids, and it is therefore recommended that the prism be cleaned after use.
