This 1.7 kg cast iron base is smaller than the Large Rod Base (above) and does not have leveling feet. This base can be used with both threaded and nonthreaded rods. Non-threaded rods from 9.5 to 13 mm (3/8 to 1/2 inches) diameter can be supported.
