CPEP Set Contemporary Physics Charts

The Contemporary Physics Education Project (CPEP) is a worldwide, nonprofit consortium of teachers, educators and physicists. CPEP-developed materials seek to disseminate current understanding of the fundamental nature of matter and energy, incorporating the major research findings of recent years. Their most popular and informative charts have been combined into these packages. The poster-size set of five includes Nuclear Science which covers radioactivity, nuclear and stellar energy, antimatter and the Big Bang; Fusion which provides an overview of plasma physics and fusion energy; Fundamental Particles which summarizes the world of quarks, neutrinos, Higgs Bosons and dark matter; History and Fate of the Universe which summarizes the development of our universe and the factors that determine its fate; and Gravitation which illustrates and summarizes theories of gravity as they evolved from Newton’s Law of Gravitation to Einstein’s General Theory of Relativity, and depicts the recent discovery of gravitational waves.
