Water bath, mini, dome lid
A small round water bath with a Teflon-coated steel tub and transparent dome lid at a very reasonable price. The outer dimensions of the water bath are 195 x 190 x 260 mm, while the tub measures Ø150 x 105 mm. The power to the water bath is turned on via a button on the back of the bath, after which the temperature and time can be set on the easy-to-read digital display on the front of the bath.
The tub heats up quickly and the heat is evenly distributed with less than 1°C difference when measured at different locations in the tub. The water bath has a safety feature that automatically turns off the tub if the water level falls below the level of the heating element. Temperature range from room temperature to 99.9°C.
The bath comes with a plastic bottom grate and a transparent dome lid, ensuring economical operation and the ability to keep an eye on the product in the water bath at all times.
After use, empty the water by simply pouring it into a sink – however, this should only be done when the tub is turned off and the water has cooled to temperatures that can no longer cause burns.
Use of the product
Water baths are used for temperature-dependent processes in chemistry, biology and biotechnology. These could include enzymatic reactions and syntheses as well as heating liquids or melting agar. Water baths can also be used in research laboratories and within the healthcare sector.
The size and price of the water bath make it possible to have one water bath per workstation or several water baths, each with its own temperature.
