Viewing chamber
The demonstration cuvette is made of clear plexiglass and measures approx. 9 x 11 x 3 cm. It has a rounded bottom so that there are no corners where small animals can hide, making observations easier. The transparent construction makes it possible to view the contents from multiple angles, and the cuvette is suitable for both studying and photographing collected organisms.
Use of the product
In teaching, the demonstration cuvette is a useful tool in biology and nature/technology when students work with field studies of small animals from lakes, streams or ponds. The collected insects or small animals can be placed in the cuvette and observed in detail without them disappearing from sight. The rounded bottom gives students a better opportunity to follow the animals’ movement. A practical tip is to use the cuvette together with a stereo magnifying glass or digital camera, so that students can document and analyze their findings.
