Vacuum pump, oil-free
No more water suction pumps that are always missing loose parts and where water spills out to the right and left. This small vacuum pump measuring 192 x 100 x 150 mm is the solution. The pump can stand on the table and sucks both efficiently and without mess. There is no water and no oil involved.
The vacuum pump is lightweight with a carrying handle and 4 suction feet, ensuring quick transport and safe work when filtering through suction flasks. The pump can filter 10 L per minute with a maximum suction capacity of 0.075 Mpa.
On the back of the vacuum pump is the socket for suction and the input for the power plug. On the front is a pressure gauge and the on/off button. The nozzle on the back of the pump has an outer diameter of 7.4 mm.
The pump’s nozzle is connected to the suction cup’s nozzle via the supplied plastic hose or via a rubber hose, after which the pump is turned on and the suction starts. The pump is efficient, relatively silent and equipped with an automatic shut-off in case of overheating.
Use of the product
The vacuum pump is used in laboratories in biology and chemistry, among other things, when liquids need to be filtered via suction flasks and Büchner funnels. This could be plant parts that need to be sucked from chlorophyll extract or the collection of synthesis products and precipitates from chemical reactions. The vacuum pump’s compact size and shape make it good for smaller laboratories with limited space on the workbench or in the cabinet.
