This Mercury Spectral Tube is 26-cm-long and capillary-thin over the middle 10-cm to provide sharp, bright spectra.
Description
This tube is one of eight that is used on PASCO’s Spectral Tube Power Supply and Mount (SE-9460). The 26-cm-long tubes are capillary-thin over the middle 10 cm, providing sharp, bright spectra. Made of research-grade gasses and vapors and non-UV transmitting glass, these tubes produce spectral lines of high clarity.
Important Note: These spectral tubes should not have current run through them for more than 30 minutes continuously.
CAUTION: UV LIGHT; WHEN USING THIS PRODUCT, DO NOT LOOK INTO THE LAMP. UV RAYS MAY BE DAMAGING. WEAR PROPER EYE AND SKIN PROTECTION.
