The Resistivity Board provides four wires of the same diameter but different materials.
Description
The Resistance Wire Board provides the basis for student investigations into resistance. Four wires, 50cm long mounted on a hardwood and acrylic base with connection made via a 4mm socket. The wires are all Nichrome with diameters of 1.0, 0.8, 0.63 and 0.4mm giving resistances in the range 0.4 to 4 ohms. A graduated mm scale is included allowing resistance vs. length and resistance vs. diameter investigations to be easily covered.
