Microscope Basic-S, monocular
The Basic S microscope is a simple and affordable monocular microscope that is particularly suitable for examining various cells from plankton, plants and animals. The microscope is equipped with three semi-plan objectives that provide extra good sharpness and contrast, making it easy to see details in microscope slides. The 10x magnification of the eyepiece together with the objectives gives a total magnification of 40x, 100x and 400x. The lens tower is rear-facing and provides easy access to the objectives.
Description
The microscope is robustly built with a strong cross stage, stepless LED lighting and a spring-loaded front on the 40x objective to avoid damage to micro-preparations and lenses. Focusing is done with the coaxial coarse and fine screw on the side of the microscope that moves the cross stage up and down. The light is built-in LED lighting that is adjusted via a rotary knob on the microscope base, while contrast and depth of field are adjusted with the condenser and aperture under the cross stage.
The microscope is equipped with a rechargeable battery, which is charged via the included cable and allows the microscope to be used during fieldwork or in rooms where there is no electricity.
The microscope is supplied with a dust cap.

Use of the product
The microscope can be used in biology and nature/technology for courses on plant and animal cells, the study of microorganisms in water samples or structural studies of insect parts, animal tissue and plants. The microscope’s semi-plan objectives make the microscope ideal for use in smaller laboratories and clinics, where blood and stool samples, among other things, need to be examined.
