Grow Garden with light
The greenhouse combines LED lighting and a self-watering system to create optimal and consistent growing conditions. It is particularly suitable for educational experiments with germinating plants, genetic studies and experiments with different nutrients and growing media.
Description
The light source consists of an energy-efficient LED grow light of 6400 Kelvin – equivalent to bright daylight – which provides the plants with optimal lighting conditions. The irrigation system consists of a water tank, a capillary mat and a membrane system that automatically ensures the plants a constant and even water supply for up to 14 days. Included are four reusable trays and a lifting platform for the plants. The greenhouse has a lifespan of 10,000 hours.
Use of the product
The greenhouse supports teaching about plant science, photosynthesis, sustainability, and the future of food production. Use it as a starting point for discussions about food safety, vertical farming, or how to grow plants in demanding environments.
In teaching, the greenhouse can be used for experiments with irradiated seeds, studies of nutrient deficiencies, comparison of growing media and for simulation of modern agricultural forms.
