Description
The steel balls illustrate molecules in different phases. Steel balls in motion represent gas molecules that lift a plastic piston with repeated collisions. The model can i.a. used to demonstrate the movement of molecules in the gas state, Brownian motion and in the boiling of liquid.
The model is supplied with a piston, steel balls and a support foot for placing the device on an overhead projector.
