Finger pulse oximeter
The fingertip pulse oximeter is a small electronic measuring device that uses an infrared sensor to measure blood oxygen saturation (SpO₂), pulse rate and respiratory rate.
Description
It is used by placing a finger in the integrated clip, after which the measurement starts automatically and appears on the display after a few seconds. The device has a single control button that makes it easy to change the display orientation on the screen, for example from horizontal to vertical.
The device automatically turns off shortly after the finger is removed from the sensor, ensuring low power consumption. It uses 2 AAA batteries (not included).
Use of the product
The pulse oximeter can be used in biology and health education to investigate the body’s physiological responses during, for example, physical activity, various breathing exercises or the diving reflex.
