Electromagnet, U shape
U-shaped electromagnet for demonstrating electromagnetism. When 4–6 V DC is connected, the core becomes magnetic, which can be demonstrated with the included rectangular iron plate with a lifting hook. The height is approx. 12 cm. The electromagnet is connected to standard safety plugs via the socket on the side of the coils.
Use of the product
In electrical studies, students can investigate the relationship between current, number of turns and magnetic strength, and demonstrate magnetization/demagnetization. The product is ideal for experiments with magnetic lift and retention, as well as field lines.
