Dicot Stem model, small
The model shows the structure of a stem from a dicotyledonous plant. The vascular and spicate parts are marked in clear colours so that students can see the vascular system. The growth zone is shown in yellow-green and the dermis is in dark green, while non-functional wood is shown in light green.
Description
The model is made of durable, soft plastic and measures 36 x 24 x 17 cm. Avoid storing the model in direct sunlight.
Use of the product
The model is suitable for teaching biology, plant anatomy and botany. It gives students a three-dimensional image of the plant’s vascular systems, and can be supplemented with homemade or pre-prepared microscope slides of the same structures.
