Digital scale with tare and counting function and weighing range from 0 to 1000 g and an accuracy of 0.1 g throughout the range. The scale has an easy-to-read display and is supplied with 2 AAA batteries.
Description
Factory calibrated upon delivery, but can be easily calibrated on an ongoing basis. It requires a 1,000 g weight (can be composed of two 500 g calibration weights, item no. 095690).
How to calibrate the scale:
- Turn on the scale
- Hold down “Mode” until the display shows “CAL”
- Press “Mode” again – the scale now shows the weight of the weight to be used. In this case 1000 g
- Place the calibration weight on the scale and wait for “PASS”
- The scale’s display will then show “1000.0” and the scale is calibrated.
Use of the product
Suitable for the school kitchen where you want to weigh ingredients, or for the school laboratory where smaller quantities of chemicals and materials require accurate measurements. The counting function makes it easy to count small items, such as pills or beads, and the tare function allows you to reset the scale between weighings. The scale can also be used in hobby projects, in the workshop or for tasks where precision and ease of operation are important.
