The Lascells AC Magnetic Field Coil is 10 turns of insulated copper wire, mounted on an acrylic base.
Description
This device provides a simple and effective way for students to explore the relationship between Magnetic Flux Linkage and the orientation of a search coil, relative to a magnetic field. With a protractor scale etched into the unit base, the angle between the search coil and the field direction is readily measured and students can directly observe how flux linkage changes, as a function of angle.
