Digital microscope with 7 inch LCD screen
Small lightweight microscope/stereo magnifier with a 7-inch LCD screen with a resolution of 1024x 600 that can be tilted at a 120 0 angle for optimal viewing.
This small, smart microscope has no eyepiece, but instead an LCD screen where you can see what is under the lens. You can choose whether the light should come from above or below, which means the microscope also functions as a stereo magnifier. Switching between top light and bottom light is done by pressing a button.
Objective magnification: x4, x10 and x40. Focus can be adjusted via knobs on the side of the microscope, after which you can zoom in and out on the screen via buttons on the microscope.
In addition to just studying insects, plant parts or micro-preparations, you can easily and efficiently take pictures or record video of what is under the microscope. Both pictures and video can be either saved on the device’s SD card or transferred to a PC via USB.
The microscope also has a digital measuring scale with which you can measure the length and width of objects.
The microscope is compatible with Win10 and Win 11 and comes with power plug, PC cable and rechargeable batteries.
If the microscope is to use the PC as an intermediary in relation to viewing on a large screen, you must download and extract the software program: StrangeView.
- Download the strangeviev program to your PC via the link in the previous line.
- Find the program on your PC in the folder: downloads
- Open the program
- Turn on the microscope, place a slide under it and focus.
- Connect the PC and microscope with the included cable. The USBC end should be connected to the microscope and the USBA end should be connected to the PC.
- A menu with 3 items will now appear on the microscope screen

- Turn the microscope’s Function knob (top right) until the PC camera function is highlighted and then press the knob to select the function.
- The microscope screen turns black and the image from the screen appears on the PC screen instead.
Use of the product
In teaching, the microscope provides a shared display of specimens, allowing students to work together on analyses of insects, plant parts and micro-preparations. It is particularly suitable for demonstration on screen or in groups where ocular microscopes may be impractical.
In business, it is used, for example, in quality control, electronics repair or inspection tasks, where documentation via images or video is useful.
