Spring set, 5 different ones with hook
This spring set contains five springs of the same length but with different stiffnesses, so they can be loaded differently. Each spring has a closed suspension at one end and a hook at the other end, making them easy to hang and attach weights to.
The springs are made of nickel-plated spring steel. The five springs can be loaded up to 0.5 N, 1 N, 2 N, 3 N and 5 N respectively. With a 100 gram weight, the springs are extended 370 mm, 160 mm, 90 mm, 60 mm and 40 mm respectively. The set provides a simple way to investigate the relationship between force and extension.
