PASCO 5-year Warranty for Education

Unless otherwise stated, PASCO-branded products are covered by a 5-year limited warranty from ship date against defects in material and workmanship. The PASCO warranty does not extend to rechargeable batteries contained inside products or to any product containing a touch screen, products that have been subject to abuse, neglect, accident, and improper installation, or products that have been repaired or altered outside of our facilities except with prior approval.

Consumables and limited-life products (such as pH probes, ezSamples, membranes, fast-response temperature probes, alkaline batteries (AA, AAA, C, D, 9 Volt, Coin Cell), chemical solutions, software, printed materials, etc.) are excluded from the 5-year warranty, but they do fall under the 90-day Satisfaction Guarantee. Product-specific and additional warranty information is available upon request.

Rechargeable Battery (2) Year Limited Warranty

PASCO warrants rechargeable batteries built into new products and replacement rechargeable batteries to be free from defects in workmanship and materials under normal use for a period of (2) years from the date of purchase. It is normal for battery life, defined as the amount of time a device runs before it needs to be recharged, to decrease over time. This is not considered a defect in workmanship or materials. Warranty products must be shipped prepaid, door-to-door. No equipment may be returned without prior notification. Any item returned to CIDER HOUSE TECH must be shipped prepaid. Unpaid returns will not be accepted and an invoice will be issued if there are any costs incurred by CIDER HOUSE TECH for items received.

Email notification needs to be sent before any products are returned to CIDER HOUSE TECH as we have found many problems can be resolved by our customers with a little help from our staff, saving returning the products back to base.

Where an item is being returned back to base the customer must provide.

  • Your Name, Email Address and contact phone number;
  • All items included in the packaging;
  • A description of the issue or problem;

The purchaser is responsible for checking the manufacturer’s warranty conditions.

In the event items need to be returned to CIDER HOUSE TECH, items must be in new condition and packaged in original shipping cartons and in working condition. Many items purchased through CIDER HOUSE TECH are special order and returned or exchange items may result in a restocking fee charged to the client.

Goods are non-returnable unless a warranty or guarantee is breached. Subject to Australian Consumer Law, customers may be required to pay for any costs we incur as a result of any change of mind, order cancellations or returns (for example, handling/transport costs or any re-stocking fee charged by our supplier). 

Faulty and Damaged Items

Damage to the Goods – CIDER HOUSE TECH must receive in writing at the time of receiving the Goods a report of the damage. A formal claim will need to be lodged within 24 hours of receipt of the Goods. Please check over your shipment straight away and let CIDER HOUSE TECH know of any items damaged or missing in transit. Our couriers require notification within 24 hours of delivery for damaged items

Where an item has been delivered either faulty or damaged, for a warranty claim to be opened the customer must provide.

  • Your Name and Email Address;
  • A description of the issue or problem;
  • Order number, the item name if applicable;
  • Number of boxes received
  • Date of purchase; and
  • For items that are faulty or damaged, photo and or video footage detailing the problem.

You must keep ALL packaging and boxes for the claim as the couriers may need to collect the parcel/s
